NEW HAVEN — Patrick R. Linsey has joined the law firm of Neubert, Pepe & Monteith, P.C., according to a release.
Linsey “is an accomplished creditors’ rights and commercial litigator, helping clients navigate complex issues,” Doug Skalka, managing partner, said in the release. “We are thrilled that Pat has joined our growing bankruptcy and litigation team.”
Linsey earned his B.A., magna cum laude in political science from University of Maine and his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law, the firm said in the release.
Housatonic River Job Network sets meeting schedule
MILFORD — The Housatonic River Job Network has announced the speakers and topics for its August meetings.
On Aug. 25, guest speaker will be Tina Kadish, a freedom strategist and life coach as well as owner of Life Is Ideal, and the topic will be “Top 10 Resume & Cover Letter Tips to Improve Your Job Search.”
A freedom strategist “is someone who becomes a client’s compass, and points their clients in the proper direction, in order to help them find true inner happiness,” according to a release. Kadish helps clients create a “plan of action” to overcome obstacles, it said, and also has served as a corporate training and development professional.
For the Aug. 31 meeting, guest speaker will be Henning Seip, founder and president of Candogram Inc., and the topic will be “Understanding the Job Market After COVID-19 in 2021.”
Seip will talk about the changing job market in Connecticut, and how his business analyzes job postings to create a database with employment information from more than 60,000 employers, according to the release. “There are millions of job postings on the Internet but what is it employers want?” Seip said in the release. “If we train on what employers are looking for, people find employment faster!”
Both meetings will take place at 7 p.m. at the Margaret Egan Community Center, 35 Matthew St. All health guidelines will be followed, including social distancing and wearing masks while in the center.
