MILFORD — The Housatonic River Job Network will hold its next meetings at 7 p.m. on May 20 and 27.
On May 20, the featured speaker will be Alex Yaworowski, founder and creator of the Housatonic River Job Network, and the topic will be “Skill Sets — The Secret Sauce of Job Search.”
The presentation “will highlight how to make skill sets a fundamental part of your daily job search plan,” according to a release, and Yaworowski “will discuss practical ways to incorporate them into all of your daily activities — since this approach is also applicable to interviewing, networking, and job expos.”
On May 27, the guest speaker will be Tina Kadish, owner of Life Is Ideal, who will speak on “The Best Strategies to Prepare for a Job Interview.”
Kadish, according to the release, is a freedom strategist, life coach and money motivator. Her presentation will include “how to prepare for an interview, basic do’s & don’ts, what recruiters look for from interviewees, and how to follow up after an interview the right way to maximize success,” the release said.
Both meetings will be held at the Margaret Egan Community Center, 35 Matthew St.
