This year’s Rising Stars of Private Equity has been published at a time of great uncertainty for the sector, as the young professionals on our list battle with rising interest rates, high inflation, and supply chain issues for their portfolio companies.

They have risen to these challenges, with many of the rising stars achieving recent promotions and becoming involved in supporting junior staff, all while adjusting to the “new normal” as teams return to the workplace after Covid lockdowns.

The list, which was published by Financial News’ sister publication Private Equity News, includes Maria Andrisani, who helps the private equity team at Bain Capital to finance deals; Mark Dale, who was promoted last year to co-head the UK business for Carlyle Europe Partners; Diki Korniloff, who is the first female to have risen from associate to partner at IK Partners; Susie Stanford, who was promoted to partner at Livingbridge this year; and Rickard Torell, who has achieved two promotions during 2022.
